We are preparing a Small Town Sports Sustainability Strategy.

The Small Town Sports Sustainability Strategy focuses on the following eight small town recreation reserves and their respective clubs and committees:

Strathmerton, Yarroweyah, Waaia, Tungamah, Katunga, Invergordon, Katamatite and Picola

The towns have populations ranging between 500 to 1,000 people.

This strategy provides Council with direction to enhance the sustainability of sport in smaller towns, and recommendations for how Moira Shire can improve the equity of sports facility provision across the Shire to ultimately increase sports participation.

We invite you to provide feedback on the Small Town Sports Sustainability Strategy.
