The Yarrawonga West Drainage draft master plan aims to protect homes, businesses and rural areas in Yarrawonga from severe flooding,
particularly during rare but significant 1 in 100-year storm events. The draft master plan includes identifying flood-prone areas, developing effective flood prevention measures, and ensuring new developments meet required drainage standards. By creating this comprehensive plan, we aim to reduce the risk of flooding, improve drainage systems and build a safer, more resilient Yarrawonga.

Review of the draft master plan is now closed, Council officers will review the feedback ahead of submitted a final recommendation at a Scheduled Council Meeting.
