The region is facing a serious problem with more road accidents than other regions, leading to great personal loss.

To help make our roads safer, we are developing the Road Safety Strategy and Action Plan 2025-2034 (RSSAP)

We have developed a survey for community to share their experiences, concerns and suggestions regarding road safety.

Your feedback will help us create a comprehensive and actionable roadmap to enhance road safety for all residents and visitors.

Together we can make sure our roads are safer and protect our community from the devastating impacts of road accidents.

Consultation period for the Road Safety Survey is now closed.

Council will now review the feedback from the Road Safety Survey to inform the development of the Road Safety Strategy and Action Plan.

The Road Safety Strategy Survey was available from Monday 29 July - Friday 6 September 2024.
